Cockroaches can live in very hot - humid or sub zero conditions, basically they adapt to the environment that they have infested to do whatever it takes to exist. This six-legged critter can live without food for an entire month and hold its breath for forty minutes if necessary? Even if you cut off its head, it would still run around the house for about a week before dying of thirst because its brain is not in its head - It’s scattered throughout its body. The cockroach world does not exist of dating or romantic warm-up rituals. The female mates only once and is pregnant for the rest of her life. A set of claws on its feet enables it to climb a wall as easily as it scoots across the kitchen counter. The cockroach is so difficult to eliminate, there are nearly 4,000 known species of cockroach and their existence dates back to more than 200 million years ago!

Cockroaches are a difficult pest to control, but we have made it easier! With our kits and step-by step instruction you can now control cockroaches without the need to call in a professional pest controller.

This kit is supplied with the much acclaimed Strikeback insect control step by step user manual and instructional DVD that is designed to help you coordinate a professional approach to your pest control problem to help ensure pests are controlled correctly and quickly. This reduces the need for repeated treatment which is good for you, your family and the environment.

The key to success in getting rid of cockroaches is to be extremely thorough. The following is a basic guide for the use of the products within the kit, the Strikeback manual and DVD is more detailed.

Step 1
Activate the Strikeback Insect Killing Foggers in the room. Two foggers are sufficient to kill cockroaches in a room that is approximately 3m x 2.5m, larger rooms will require extra foggers. The insecticidal fog gets almost everywhere and will kill any cockroach it comes in contact with. In most cases fogging is only required during the first treatment, however, many of our customers prefer to repeat the whole procedure and use foggers during subsequent treatments; additional foggers need to be purchased to do this, and can be found below.

Step 2
Once the room has been thoroughly ventilated, apply a fine mist of Strikeback Insect Killing Spray to areas of possible pest activity, ensuring every crack and crevice is inspected and treated. Be sure to test spray a part of hidden carpet first to ensure that the colours are not affected by the spray. Once dry the insecticide may be effective for up to 4 weeks.

Step 3
Once dry apply Strikeback Natural Insect Killing Powder to areas where it is unsafe to apply the Strikeback Insect Killing Spray water based spray e.g.: electrical fittings. The powder can also be liberally applied under floorboards to provide a long term protection in a difficult access area.

Step 4
Place the Strikeback Cockroach Traps against the walls in the areas treated to monitor and trap any cockroaches that are still active.

Step 5
Repeat every 2-3 weeks until the problem is resolved.

(It is perhaps worth noting that the products contained within this kit are also excellent at controlling most other crawling and flying insects including ants, flying ants, bed bugs, fleas, cluster flies and house flies.)
